很晚了,還不睡?
對啊.最近都那麼晚睡,快要變熊貓了.

昨晚,無意之中給我找到多年以前我在 Openrice.com 寫的食評,一直以來我以為自己是用了carbonxiv這個名字,想不到,原來我是用了一個我完全記不起來的名字.重看以前自己寫的東西,感覺有點怪怪的.那個時候寫的”文章”也是蠻廣東口語化的.看著看著那些所謂的食評,想不到,記憶就好像一絲一絲的被它們勾出來了.雖然沒有記下任何人的名字,但每一次的飲食經歷我都記得清清楚楚.人的記憶和感覺是最難控制,最不理性的.以為甚麼都不記得了,但某一天某一日,可能因為看/聽/聞,不知道深深埋在腦袋哪裡的影像又會再自動重播.

本來是想要寫一寫最近吃過的餐廳的,但現在,好像太離題了.待續吧...

I think this is my third post about Baton Rouge.

This Christmas, we had a company lunch @ Baton Rouge… Yummmmm :P Overall, I find the food there pretty good. Here’re some of the pictures that I’ve taken…

Ceasar Salad
Ceasar Salad that came with the entree. The porton is so big that your stomach will be half-filled before the entree comes.

Soup
Soup that came with the special entree for the day - Sea Bass. I won’t order soup next time… the salas was so much better.

Filet Mignon
My Filet Mignon 8 oz. - oh i love it!!! So tender and juicy… medium rare - just right. Don’t look at the broccoli - it’s HUGE!!! - which makes the filet mignon looks even smaller… the 8oz. was actually just right.

Tuna Steak
Seared “Sushi Grade” Tuna Steak… With Ginger & Lime Vinaigrette.

New York Striploin
New York Striploin 14 oz. Again, don’t look at baked potato - It was huge!!! The striploin was good, with lots of flavour.

Sea Bass.
That day’s special - Sea Bass. Had a bite of that… it was quite good…

Barbecue Baby Back Ribs
Barbecue Baby Back Ribs… One full pound of moist tender and meaty Baby Back Pork Ribs! YUMMM - this is the signiture of Baton Rouge.

Creme Brulee Cheesecake
Dessert time! Creme Brulee Cheesecake

Among all these desserts, I especially liked the Creme Brulee Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse.

Holidays 假期中

從上個禮拜五開始放假,很快就過了聖誕節/Boxing Day.
今年的聖誕節好像過得特別快.可能是看著日曆,感覺好像很快又要上班的原因吧.聖誕節沒有寄聖誕卡,也沒有打很多電話去道賀.只是好像收到很多禮物-有一大堆自己買給自己的東西,又有公司送的 iPod nano,Secret Santa收到的iPod汽車充電器,名片盒,CD盒.

因為用了 iTune的緣故,這幾天一直在整理電腦裏的音樂.一共三十多四十GB,自己也有點嚇到-想不到收集了那麼多的歌.但是,多到這個程度,好像很多餘.聽得了那麼多嗎?

我想我可能是有點”整理狂”,要不就不做,要不就不眠不休的整理,務求每一首個都有封面/專輯名...再過兩天,把電腦從新裝一次.

是不是很傻呢.又浪費了那麼多的時間在這種無謂的地方上.

Less than 1 week and it will be Christmas!!! I’ve been thinking of what kinds of food I should bring to the Christmas parties this year. Recently, I’ve seen a recommendation of a sparkling wine from Blue Nun that’s very suitable for the holiday gatherings. It’s not a popular brand that you would think of, but I’d like to try. The gold flakes seem to be good for this festive season.
